Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher in European trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for February delivery traded at USD47.47 a barrel at time of writing rising 2.63%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD47.91 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD44.20 and resistance at USD51.27.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.26% to trade at USD92.76.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for March delivery rose 3.06% to trade at USD49.74 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD2.27 a barrel.
