Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.87%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 2.46% or 22.0 points to trade at 918.0 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 1.97% or 0.73 points to end at 37.75 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) was up 1.94% or 5.4 points to 283.6 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (CO:GEN), which lost 1.82% or 21.0 points to trade at 1135.0 in late trade. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) declined 0.62% or 2.4 points to end at 385.8 and DSV (CO:DSV) shed 0.62% or 2.1 points to 335.6.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 84 to 49 and 22 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.12% or 0.06 to $50.69 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.49% or 0.25 to hit $51.63 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.18% or 2.25 to trade at $1265.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.56% to 6.8451, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4386.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.46% at 98.74.
