Meanwhile, across the Atlantic, European stock bourses were mixed at the close. France’s CAC 40 was down 0.23%; Germany’s DAX gained 0.20%; Britain’s FTSE 100 climbed 0.15%; and the EURO STOXX 50 fell 0.37%.
