Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Auto & components, Healthcare Equipment & Services and Banking sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.61%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 2.91% or 9.5 points to trade at 336.5 at the close. Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (OL:RCLo) added 2.64% or 19.5 points to end at 759.5 and Opera Software ASA (OL:OPERA) was up 1.93% or 0.92 points to 48.61 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Renewable Energy Corporation ASA (OL:REC), which lost 4.60% or 0.07 points to trade at 1.51 in late trade. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 4.55% or 1.71 points to end at 35.87 and Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) shed 3.16% or 1.9 points to 58.2.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 105 to 74 on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.40% or 0.66 to $47.76 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.64% or 0.32 to hit $50.57 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.11% or 1.30 to trade at $1165.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.68% to 9.2560, while USD/NOK rose 0.53% to 8.1366.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.06% at 94.83.
