Investing.com - Gold futures were lower during the U.S. session on Tuesday.
On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for April delivery traded at USD1264.50 a troy ounce at time of writing falling 0.97%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD1255.90 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1252.10 and resistance at USD1294.60.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 1.30% to trade at USD93.58.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for March delivery rose 0.97% to trade at USD17.418 a troy ounce while Copper for March delivery rose 4.01% to trade at USD2.590 a pound.
