Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 1.43%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 29.17% or 315.0 points to trade at 1395.0 at the close. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) added 1.09% or 140.0 points to end at 12940.0 and Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) was up 0.45% or 100.0 points to 22300.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which lost 5.62% or 55.0 points to trade at 923.0 in late trade. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) declined 2.95% or 1740.0 points to end at 57160.0 and Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) shed 2.61% or 240.0 points to 8940.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 21 to 5 and 1 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.91% or 1.05 to $114.90 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $2905.50 , while the February Gold contract fell 0.17% or 1.80 to trade at $1088.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.96% to 3302.40, while BRL/COP rose 2.26% to 818.09.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.19% at 99.17.
