Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Chemicals and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.03% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (COP:DANSKE), which rose 1.38% or 2.7 points to trade at 198.2 at the close. Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) added 1.38% or 9.5 points to end at 697.0 and Nordea Bank AB (COP:NDA) was up 1.19% or 1.00 points to 84.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb), which lost 1.83% or 5.8 points to trade at 311.9 in late trade. TDC A/S (COP:TDC) declined 1.71% or 0.86 points to end at 49.39 and Genmab (COP:GEN) shed 1.45% or 8.5 points to 577.5.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 99 to 56 and 5 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.09% or 1.27 to $59.55 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 2.56% or 1.65 to hit $62.62 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1202.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.21% to 6.5806, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4611.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.20% at 94.40.
