Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Basic Industry, Mining and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Plaza Indonesia Realty Tbk (JK:PLIN), which rose 16.50% or 495 points to trade at 3495 at the close. Asuransi Ramayana Tbk (JK:ASRM) added 14.67% or 165 points to end at 1290 and Asuransi Multi Artha Guna Tbk (JK:AMAG) was up 12.93% or 41 points to 358 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bank Of India Indonesia Tbk (JK:BSWD), which lost 20.00% or 1120 points to trade at 4480 in late trade. Arwana Citramulia Tbk (JK:ARNA) declined 14.84% or 115 points to end at 660 and Tunas Alfin Tbk (JK:TALF) shed 14.29% or 70 points to 420.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 194 to 158 and 38 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.35% or 0.20 to $55.97 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.13% or 0.08 to hit $62.65 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.06% or 0.70 to trade at $1187.60 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.05% to 12935.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.47% to 9975.75.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.10% at 98.14.
