Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower in European trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for May delivery traded at USD50.87 a barrel at time of writing falling 1.10%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD50.06 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD45.33 and resistance at USD52.48.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.16% to trade at USD97.70.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for May delivery fell 1.34% to trade at USD58.40 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD7.53 a barrel.
