Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Insurance, Building & Construction and Hotels & Tourism sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160), which rose 9.76% or 1.20 points to trade at 13.50 at the close. BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270) added 8.91% or 2.70 points to end at 33.00 and ACE ARABIA COOPERATIVE INSURANCE (SE:8240) was up 5.98% or 2.80 points to 49.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which lost 5.44% or 1.60 points to trade at 27.80 in late trade. Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040) declined 1.96% or 0.90 points to end at 45.10 and Saudi Ground Services Co (SE:4031) shed 1.94% or 1.00 points to 50.50.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 112 to 41 and 18 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.91% or 0.49 to $53.56 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.87% or 0.49 to hit $55.93 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.19% or 2.45 to trade at $1256.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.06% to 3.9733, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7498.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 101.04.
