Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Investment, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO), which rose 2.07% or 1240.0 points to trade at 61100.0 at the close. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) added 1.41% or 60.0 points to end at 4310.0 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) was up 1.22% or 420.0 points to 34880.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which lost 11.35% or 350.0 points to trade at 2735.0 in late trade. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 2.73% or 230.0 points to end at 8200.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) shed 1.32% or 15.0 points to 1125.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 14 to 10 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 0.38% or 0.57 to $150.12 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.93% or 19.50 to hit $2108.50 , while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 0.60 to trade at $1210.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.57% to 2900.28, while BRL/COP rose 0.11% to 926.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 99.66.
