Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.74%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were William Demant Holding (CO:WDH), which rose 2.83% or 18.0 points to trade at 654.5 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 2.81% or 7.6 points to end at 278.5 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 2.61% or 16.0 points to 629.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novo Nordisk B (CO:NOVOb), which lost 0.39% or 1.4 points to trade at 358.0 in late trade. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) added 0.42% or 1.10 points to end at 261.60 and Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) gained 0.71% or 0.9 points to 128.4.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 113 to 45 and 10 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.63% or 0.24 to $38.52 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.95% or 0.38 to hit $40.23 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.69% or 8.60 to trade at $1228.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.32% to 6.5797, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4519.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.32% at 94.87.
