Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 2.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 2.09% or 175 points to trade at 8550 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) added 1.69% or 140 points to end at 8435 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 0.72% or 4.0 points to 559.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which lost 5.22% or 1.65 points to trade at 29.95 in late trade. Novo Nordisk B (CO:NOVOb) declined 3.25% or 12.5 points to end at 372.2 and Genmab (CO:GEN) shed 2.89% or 25.0 points to 841.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 105 to 54 and 4 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 3.75% or 1.21 to $33.51 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 3.86% or 1.31 to hit $35.24 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.11% or 1.20 to trade at $1114.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.51% to 6.8160, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4629.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.46% at 98.57.
