Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.34%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (COP:CARLb), which rose 4.73% or 23.3 points to trade at 515.5 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) added 3.00% or 7.0 points to end at 240.7 and Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) was up 2.42% or 18.5 points to 784.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included TDC A/S (COP:TDC), which lost 3.26% or 1.24 points to trade at 36.78 in late trade. Genmab (COP:GEN) declined 1.16% or 7.5 points to end at 637.5 and Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb) shed 0.72% or 2.1 points to 289.8.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 81 to 73 and 4 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 5.88% or 2.62 to $47.21 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 4.32% or 2.06 to hit $49.81 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.87% or 20.60 to trade at $1123.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.41% to 6.5942, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4614.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.44% at 95.34.
