Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Media, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.05%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Akastor ASA (OL:AKAS), which rose 7.29% or 0.6 points to trade at 9.1 at the close. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) added 5.53% or 0.97 points to end at 18.52 and TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) was up 4.93% or 7.1 points to 151.1 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which lost 8.07% or 1.6 points to trade at 17.8 in late trade. REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) declined 7.63% or 0.09 points to end at 1.03 and Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) shed 2.51% or 5.9 points to 228.8.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 80 to 64 and 23 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.48% or 0.23 to $48.47 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.64% or 0.32 to hit $50.51 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.20% or 2.65 to trade at $1314.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.23% to 8.9489, while USD/NOK rose 0.02% to 7.9834.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.30% at 95.67.
