Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Services and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.54%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which rose 1.79% or 5.2 points to trade at 295.7 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 1.38% or 9.0 points to end at 660.0 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was up 1.26% or 6.3 points to 505.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb), which lost 0.29% or 2.0 points to trade at 690.5 in late trade. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 0.12% or 0.30 points to end at 256.70 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) shed 0.04% or 0.1 points to 257.3.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 85 to 36 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.60% or 0.28 to $46.26 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.41% or 0.20 to hit $48.71 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.48% or 5.93 to trade at $1233.43 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.03% to 6.4820, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4371.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 94.95.
