Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Healthcare and Chemicals sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 2.92%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (COP:TDC), which rose 4.58% or 2.26 points to trade at 51.65 at the close. Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb) added 3.97% or 14.4 points to end at 377.1 and Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) was up 3.44% or 24.0 points to 721.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included COLOPLAST B (COP:COLOb), which added 0.56% or 2.5 points to trade at 448.5 in late trade. GN Store Nord (COP:GN) added 0.98% or 1.4 points to end at 144.9 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (COP:CHRH) gained 1.06% or 3.4 points to 323.3.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 125 to 31 and 7 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.78% or 0.47 to $59.50 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.91% or 0.57 to hit $62.45 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 1.59% or 19.10 to trade at $1182.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.02% to 6.5747, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4616.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.18% at 94.48.
