Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Chemicals, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.63%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 1.71% or 4.5 points to trade at 267.8 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 1.34% or 0.51 points to end at 38.55 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 1.28% or 7.0 points to 554.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which lost 0.80% or 2.5 points to trade at 311.2 in late trade. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 0.45% or 5.0 points to end at 1098.0 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) gained 0.14% or 0.2 points to 138.7.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 100 to 43 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.24% or 0.54 to $44.16 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.25% or 0.57 to hit $46.34 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.55% or 7.15 to trade at $1317.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.22% to 6.6672, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4501.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.32% at 95.75.
