Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 gained 0.00%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Paz Oil (TA:PZOL), which rose 2.53% or 1420 points to trade at 57520 at the close. Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) added 1.69% or 2000 points to end at 120000 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) was up 1.20% or 21 points to 1767 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Israel Corp (TA:ILCO), which lost 1.66% or 2300 points to trade at 136600 in late trade. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) declined 1.37% or 37 points to end at 2663 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) shed 1.33% or 79 points to 5879.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 233 to 106 and 115 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.08% or 0.05 to $60.50 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.62% or 0.40 to hit $64.09 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.51% or 6.00 to trade at $1174.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.03% to 3.8376, while EUR/ILS fell 0.06% to 4.3124.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.13% at 95.34.
