Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Public Services and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.47%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 3.98% or 240.0 points to trade at 6270.0 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) added 1.31% or 25.0 points to end at 1930.0 and Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) was up 1.10% or 380.0 points to 34900.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemargos (CN:CCB), which lost 2.58% or 240.0 points to trade at 9050.0 in late trade. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) declined 2.48% or 660.0 points to end at 26000.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) shed 1.86% or 520.0 points to 27380.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 16 to 11 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 5.16% or 7.03 to $129.05 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 1.17% or 36.50 to hit $3164.00 , while the June Gold contract fell 0.23% or 2.80 to trade at $1205.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.20% to 2492.50, while BRL/COP fell 1.16% to 818.64.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.21% at 95.45.
