Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Public Services, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.56%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 8.40% or 345.0 points to trade at 4450.0 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) added 1.50% or 20.0 points to end at 1350.0 and Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) was up 1.21% or 80.0 points to 6700.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG), which lost 3.18% or 520.0 points to trade at 15820.0 in late trade. Isagen SA (CN:ISG) declined 2.50% or 70.0 points to end at 2730.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) shed 1.67% or 160.0 points to 9400.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 19 to 11 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 1.65% or 2.02 to $124.78 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.48% or 16.00 to hit $3341.50 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.71% or 7.60 to trade at $1074.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.89% to 3092.65, while BRL/COP rose 1.87% to 836.44.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.21% at 99.63.
