Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Telecoms, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.24%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 1.20% or 0.0420 points to trade at 3.5540 at the close. Tieto Oyj (HE:TIE1V) added 1.07% or 0.25 points to end at 23.65 and Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) was up 0.96% or 0.32 points to 33.58 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which lost 2.16% or 0.074 points to trade at 3.346 in late trade. Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) declined 1.58% or 0.52 points to end at 32.39 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) shed 1.50% or 0.47 points to 30.87.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 107 to 67 and 13 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for July delivery was down 1.42% or 0.69 to $48.03 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in July fell 1.26% or 0.61 to hit $47.80 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.34% or 4.25 to trade at $1248.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.17% to 1.1204, while EUR/GBP rose 0.27% to 0.7745.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.07% at 95.36.
