Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Energy & Utilities and Hotels & Tourism sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were United Electronics Company (SE:4003), which rose 9.88% or 3.40 points to trade at 37.80 at the close. Savola Group (SE:2050) added 6.70% or 2.60 points to end at 41.40 and Saudi Marke (SE:4006) was up 6.43% or 1.80 points to 29.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110), which lost 8.67% or 1.70 points to trade at 17.90 in late trade. United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190) declined 4.68% or 0.70 points to end at 14.25 and BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270) shed 4.15% or 1.30 points to 30.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 103 to 56 and 19 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.16% or 0.08 to $48.99 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.15% or 0.08 to hit $51.70 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.15 to trade at $1234.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.57% to 4.0512, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.50% at 99.66.
