Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Personal & Household Goods and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 2.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (COP:TDC), which fell 0.68% or 0.35 points to trade at 51.00 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) fell 1.28% or 170 points to end at 13080 and COLOPLAST B (COP:COLOb) was down 1.35% or 7.5 points to 547.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (COP:GEN), which lost 4.81% or 26.0 points to trade at 514.0 in late trade. Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) declined 3.72% or 12.5 points to end at 323.5 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (COP:CHRH) shed 2.81% or 9.4 points to 325.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 132 to 32 and 2 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 3.10% or 1.77 to $58.83 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 2.27% or 1.47 to hit $66.11 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.35% or 4.30 to trade at $1209.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 1.68% to 6.6817, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4616.
The US Dollar Index was down 1.34% at 94.90.
