Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Cement, Media & Publishing and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.12%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270), which rose 4.91% or 1.60 points to trade at 34.20 at the close. Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (SE:4290) added 4.28% or 0.80 points to end at 19.50 and Tabuk Agriculture Development Co (SE:6040) was up 3.27% or 0.40 points to 12.65 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Co (SE:2380), which lost 3.27% or 0.45 points to trade at 13.30 in late trade. Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) declined 2.70% or 0.100 points to end at 3.600 and National Agriculture Marketing Co. (SE:4160) shed 2.63% or 1.00 points to 37.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 80 to 62 and 36 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.60% or 0.32 to $53.01 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.59% or 0.33 to hit $55.57 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.41% or 5.05 to trade at $1231.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.26% to 3.9720, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 101.54.
