Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.08%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 6.15% or 95.0 points to trade at 1640.0 at the close. Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB) added 4.52% or 75.0 points to end at 1735.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was up 1.25% or 700.0 points to 56500.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which lost 3.51% or 65.0 points to trade at 1785.0 in late trade. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 3.07% or 190.0 points to end at 6000.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) shed 1.72% or 280.0 points to 16000.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 14 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 1.07% or 1.25 to $117.62 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 3.24% or 89.50 to hit $2854.00 , while the April Gold contract rose 1.11% or 12.40 to trade at $1128.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.40% to 3328.00, while BRL/COP rose 2.27% to 839.34.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.58% at 99.02.
