Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Banking and Biomed sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 lost 0.64%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF), which rose 0.66% or 31 points to trade at 4711 at the close. Melisron (TA:MLSR) added 0.36% or 50 points to end at 13940 and Osem (TA:OSEM) was up 0.19% or 15 points to 7852 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Avner L (TA:AVNRp), which lost 2.63% or 8.0 points to trade at 296.5 in late trade. Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) declined 2.13% or 2400 points to end at 110100 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) shed 2.09% or 34 points to 1593.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 187 to 128 and 138 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.48% or 1.41 to $55.52 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 2.44% or 1.51 to hit $60.55 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.37% or 4.30 to trade at $1167.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.23% to 3.7660, while EUR/ILS fell 0.01% to 4.1829.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.10% at 96.38.
