"Look at what is happening on the supermarket shelves, look at what is happening at the petrol pumps, look at what is happening with the shortage of nurses and doctors, look at what is happening with the shortage of truck drivers, look at what is happening in the construction sector," Breton told BFM TV.

"What is currently happening is a real drama," he added.

the only downside to being out of the EU is the added paperwork imposed by the EU as punishment for leaving (in many case the UK has to deal with more paperwork than imports from Canada to EU). The UK lead Europe on most standards, certainly engineering standards where most EU standards are just the original British Standard ofter watered down.
I've some amazing snake oil to sell you
The EU provided support for Wales, its farmers, the port of holyhead and the country's depressed areas stretchig from Anglesey to the South Wales Valeys. The support mechanism called the European Development Fund has, along with Europe, departed and left us hoping against hope that the right wing government, London centric, Oxbridge educated, deluded exceptionalists, will either invest in Wales or otherwise provide a happy outcome for the thinking classes in Wales and Scotland and that we shall see full self-determination for both countries within 10 years. The Celts o doubt would wish to be part of Europe, the English can continue to bask in the achievements of Empire.
Most English people are also "Celts", ancient Britons and if I remember well "London centric" people voted to remain.
with money from UK taxpayers, so why not use this money on a more efficient and focused way bypassing this huge barrel without ground EU where much money goes lost ?
More French hysterics, this is even more reason to have left
open your eyes.
Escape from EU demagogues and fanatics is sweet 👍🏼🇬🇧
Another eu drama queen.
another day, another article bashing the uk from a french politician - they must be very worried about something..
The french should get their own house in order before criticising others..
Breton is completly incorrect, none of this I see with my own eyes here in London.
I agree, from Northern England I have everything I need in the supermarkets, my car is full of fuel and the economy is booming. the shortage of workers is a good thing, it might make those sitting on benefits get out to work.according to the remainers and Europeans the UK would implode immediately and the £ become worthless. quite the opposite has happened. the £ now buys the same as it did from 2008-2016, infact it actually buys a lot more compared to 2008-2012
Breton is completly correct. All this and more i can see on my own eyes here in London.
Do you live on a drone then?
Thierry Breton is a catastrophe for France and Europe.
