Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 3.04% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk B (CO:NOVOb), which rose 6.51% or 23.2 points to trade at 379.6 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) added 2.34% or 5.60 points to end at 245.00 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 1.87% or 175 points to 9540 in late trade.
Biggest losers included GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which lost 1.99% or 2.7 points to trade at 133.2 in late trade. Vestas Wind Systems (CO:VWS) declined 1.58% or 7.4 points to end at 462.3 and Genmab (CO:GEN) shed 1.44% or 12.0 points to 820.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 107 to 41 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 3.27% or 1.13 to $35.70 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 3.88% or 1.44 to hit $38.51 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 0.91% or 11.50 to trade at $1269.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.39% to 6.7819, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4617.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.32% at 97.30.
