Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.42%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 3.15% or 17.5 points to trade at 572.5 at the close. DSV (CO:DSV) added 2.25% or 10.5 points to end at 478.2 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) was up 1.29% or 150 points to 11750 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 0.65% or 4.0 points to trade at 614.5 in late trade. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) declined 0.59% or 1.8 points to end at 303.5 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) shed 0.15% or 0.5 points to 323.5.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 74 to 44 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.61% or 0.84 to $51.30 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.46% or 0.84 to hit $56.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 1.32 to trade at $1289.12 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.30% to 6.3172, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4420.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 93.04.
