Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Consumer Durables And Apparel, Insurance and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.13%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY), which rose 2.76% or 1.40 points to trade at 52.15 at the close. Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) added 2.60% or 3.40 points to end at 134.30 and DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) was up 2.17% or 0.18 points to 8.26 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:GJFS), which lost 6.82% or 10.1 points to trade at 137.9 in late trade. Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) declined 2.34% or 1.1 points to end at 44.8 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) shed 2.21% or 4.0 points to 177.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 100 to 66 and 28 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.95% or 0.44 to $46.52 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.97% or 0.47 to hit $48.89 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.88% or 10.73 to trade at $1228.03 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.23% to 9.3913, while USD/NOK fell 0.73% to 8.1987.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.57% at 95.02.
