Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Personal & Household Goods and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.82% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 5.68% or 65.0 points to trade at 1210.0 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) added 2.89% or 10.7 points to end at 381.2 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 2.81% or 7.5 points to 274.6 in late trade.
Biggest losers included TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which lost 0.72% or 0.25 points to trade at 34.70 in late trade. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) declined 0.17% or 0.10 points to end at 59.25 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) gained 0.06% or 5 points to 8165.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 99 to 34 and 28 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.02% or 0.44 to $42.69 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $44.92 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.04% or 0.50 to trade at $1327.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.03% to 6.7702, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4396.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.11% at 97.17.
