Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Miscellaneous Industry, Agriculture and Manufacturing sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.37%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Lotte Chemical Titan Tbk (JK:FPNI), which rose 23.08% or 18 points to trade at 96 at the close. Eratex Djaja Tbk (JK:ERTX) added 15.12% or 155 points to end at 1180 and Jakarta Int Hotels & Dev (JK:JIHD) was up 14.29% or 100 points to 800 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Indo Kordsa Tbk (JK:BRAM), which lost 20.00% or 1375 points to trade at 6875 in late trade. Bank Qnb Indonesia Tbk (JK:BKSW) declined 19.46% or 145 points to end at 600 and Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk (JK:INRU) shed 17.00% or 85 points to 415.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 182 to 166 and 38 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.91% or 0.54 to $59.47 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.65% or 0.43 to hit $66.89 a barrel, while the June Gold contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $1186.80 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.69% to 13060.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.47% to 10239.00.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.18% at 95.76.
