John Burford has a lifetime's experience trading the financial markets. Although starting out as a physicist (he worked for NASA for a few years), the pull of the markets was just too great to resist and he won his Commodity Trading Advisor license in Los Angeles where he worked in a small boutique commodity firm specialising in futures.
Later, he developed his Tramline Trading system and decided to offer it to spread betters when those online platforms opened up in the UK. John's main focus is on swing trading. Risk management is a priority and his system incorporates strict money management rules. He was formerly Trading Editor at MoneyWeek for several years and has been writing Chart of the Week for Interactive Investor since 2015. He operates two trading services – VIP Traders Club and Pro Shares.
