Why Would You Risk Buying Bitcoin Right Now? My Contrarian Take Jul 20, 2022 7:03
Well if this analysis isnt a desperate attempt at preserving a ponzy scheme with creative arguments, i dont know! So much cash has been poured into Bitcoin in the only hope of speculative growth. Its like asking folk to invest hard cash to buy “common sense” ( because there is a limmited supply) and hoping that the scarcity of if will push up prices forever. And when folk begin to réalise that there is no substance or physical reality to this virtual investment then trying to argue that it’s price is going to rebound. Lol. Well tried Mr Lores Folklore indeed!!!

Coinbase: 47% Plunge Offers Good Entry Point For Long-Term Crypto Bulls Feb 04, 2022 14:01
How can speculating on fluff be sold as « investing »… its akin to investing in a stamp or pins collection…. Nothing tangible to back it other than hope the prices will rise.

When they peak! Sadly you will only know when its too late. Second best option is to cash when you are happy with your profit. Nobody can help you time the market so take the plunge when YOU feel the time is right

Britain, EU set Sunday deadline to clinch Brexit trade deal Dec 09, 2020 14:43
More for Boris!. Mind you the EU will still buy the UK fish but will just pay import duty on them making them more expensive than EU fish. I call that shooting yourself in the foot..or scuttling your own boat

Shouldn’t expect too much historical perspective or depth of analysis from our Swashbuckling Brexiteer friends . Giving the V was to show that you could still draw a longbow (captured ennemy archers during the 100 year war had their draw fingers cut off). So its quite interesting that Mr Hawley want to give the V to the French ( and EU?) when the brexiteers have no arrows to shoot. Unless of course he was just being crude which would illustrate my first point. Shouldn’t expect too much historical perspective or depth of analysis from our Swashbuckling Brexiteer friends . No deal Brexit please! so that we can get on with our lives regardless of the cost. Who in their right mind expected EU to give free & open access to the single market without any conditions?
No UK PM could accept current EU demands, says Johnson Dec 09, 2020 14:07
He is right but only if he is wanting no deal!
No UK PM could accept current EU demands, says Johnson Dec 09, 2020 14:06
Did Canada request total open and unfettered access to the European market? I dont think so Mr Kinnear
No UK PM could accept current EU demands, says Johnson Dec 09, 2020 14:03
2 points:- 1. the UK has chisen to leave the EU as we are perfectly entitled to. However the UK want to have access to the EU Market. That is a UK request to which the EU is open but only under certain conditions. It is disingenious to say that the EU is making unreasonable demands when all they are doing is reacting to the UK request to have the dlsame access we had previously but without any of the attached prevois obligations that we were willing to comply to. Leaving because qe dont want to comply is understanable but wanting back in without accepting to comply makes no sense. Mr Johnson jas failed to understand that “having cake and eating it” is not attractive to both sides of the negotiation. - 2 All the european countries (including the UK until now) have relinquished some form of control over their fishing waters. So the argument that we would be the only country in the worl to do so is hollow.

'Door is ajar' on Brexit trade talks if EU is serious: Gove Oct 18, 2020 13:40
Because of irreconcilliable differences. Britan wants duty free access to the single market with no strings attached. It would be like asking the Uk to open our borders to all immigrants with no conditions attached.
EU launches legal case against UK over Internal Market Bill Oct 01, 2020 14:40
It appears rhe UK does not intend to be accountable to any court!...Nor to the UN where the decolonisation of the Chagos islands is still pending ( the UK forcibly removed the entire population of Chagos islands and kept these Indian Ocean territories which were part of Mairitius in order to lease it out to the USA for their Diego Garcia Military base )

what do you not understand about the United Kingdom? The UK is the union of four kindoms (as the name implies) and it is therefore not a Country just like the EU is not a country. So tour remark seems ill-informed. The EU is in fact respecting the republic of Ireland and the Kingdom of Northern Ireland and trying to ensure civil war and terrorism doesnt return to the region. Matbe you need to be less emotional aboit this and understand that a negotiation is just that and that neither the UK pr the EU owe one another a deal , it needs to be negotiated. And implying disrespect is unhelpful and not not a particularly intelligent approach. what do you not understand about the United Kingdom? there is no disrespect in asking UK so honour its signature nor is there sisrespect in saying that if tou leave a club dont try to set or change the rules for rejoining it. It is an unfortunate oversight that B J wanted to take back cintrol of our birders but simultaneously wants the NI Euro border to be wide ipen. The « having your cake and eating it » just doesn’t work in international law. there is no disrespect in asking UK so honour its signature nor is there sisrespect in saying that if tou leave a club dont try to set or change the rules for rejoining it. Amazon UK unit pays $8 million corporation tax as sales hit $17.5 billion Sep 16, 2020 10:34
It is outrageous! Hos can UK allow Amazon to destroy highstreet retail and local online business while not paying its fair share if Tax. Europe is tackling the issue but in a few nonths UK will be totally isolated facing US pressure. What a disaster
Take your threats off the table, Johnson tells EU in trade row Sep 12, 2020 15:40
Dear (as in costly) Mr Johnson. You wanted to Exit Europe but you appear to want to remain in part of the European project: the free market component for which You are trying to negotiate a deal. You want to take back control of your borders but you want an open border with europe in Ireland. You want to have your cake and eat it but you want to destroy europe’s cake in the process. It is time to grow up and realise that the charm and tantrums of a spoilt 5 year old child has no effect on the elected representatives of Europe or their civil (pun intended) servants Also, you have been shouting foul of unelected bureaucrats yet you appear blind to our own unelected head of state ( God bless her) or house of LordsYou come across, Mr Johnson, as nothing more than a joke and a caricature of the establishment that created you. Sadly the joke is in poor taste as the commoners are the ones (on both sides of the channels) who will pay the price of your ambition and antics.
