The fund invests in the public equity markets of Germany. It takes short positions and uses derivatives such as swaps to invest in the stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. The fund invests in the stocks of large-cap companies. It seeks to replicate the performance of the ShortDAX x2 Index, by employing synthetic replication methodology. The index seeks to track twice the inverse of the daily performance of the DAX Index. The fund was formerly known as GO UCITS ETF Solutions Plc - ETFS DAX Daily 2x Short GO UCITS ETF. Legal & General UCITS ETF Plc - L&G DAX Daily 2x Short UCITS ETF was formed on June 15, 2009 and is domiciled in Ireland.
