Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC, a financial holding company, provides banking and other financial services to individuals, businesses, institutions, and corporations in Nigeria and internationally. The Business and Commercial Banking segment offers residential accommodation financing solutions, and fleet management and related services for retail and business markets. This segment offers its products and services to small-to-medium sized businesses and large commercial enterprises. The Corporate and Investment Banking segment provides transactional and lending products, such as cash management, international trade finance, working capital, and investor services solutions; and global markets, including foreign exchange, money markets, interest rates, equities, credit, and commodities. This segment also offers investment banking services, including advisory and financing solutions for term lending to structured and specialized products; and equity and debt capital markets. The Personal and Private Banking segment provides credit card facilities to individuals and businesses; merchant acquiring services; digital payment through various products and platforms; mobile money; and cross-border businesses. This segment offers retail lending; and transactional, savings, payment, and liquidity management solutions. The Insurance and Asset Management segment provides investment, portfolio, and fund management services. This segment also offers life insurance and trusteeship services. It undertakes venture capital projects; acts as an investor and portfolio manager, an executor and trustee of wills and trusts, and promoter of unit trust and funds; administrates and manages pension fund assets; general corporate finance and debt advisory services; and provides agency, stockbroking, and insurance brokerage services. The company was incorporated in 1989 and is based in Lagos, Nigeria. Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC operates as a subsidiary of Stanbic Africa Holdings Limited.
