United Oil & Gas PLC is a United Kingdom-based oil and gas exploration and production company. The Company is engaged in the production, development, appraisal and exploration of assets across Egypt, United Kingdom and a high impact exploration license in Jamaica. The Company’s assets include Abu Sennan Concession, P2519 License, and Walton-Morant License. License P2519 covers an area of approximately 225 square kilometers (km2) in the Outer Moray Firth Basin of the United Kingdom Central North Sea (CNS). License P2519 includes Blocks 15/18e and 15/19c and contains the existing Maria discovery in the Forties Sandstone. The Abu Sennan concession is located in the prolific onshore hydrocarbon-producing Western Desert region, over 200 km west of Cairo. It comprises of eight development concessions, each containing a producing field, as well as over 644km2 of exploration license. Its Walton-Morant license covers over 22,400 km2. and is located to the south of the island of Jamaica.

2.7p up 28% STRONG BUY United said the AJ-13 well was the fifth and final well in the Abu Sennan 2021 drilling programme, before the start of the 2022 programme. The company holds a 22% working interest in the licence, which is operated by Kuwait Energy Egypt. "We have had outstanding results with our drilling campaign in 2021 with five out of five successful wells drilled at Abu Sennan this year," said chief executive officer Brian Larkin
