    • what Intel you have, I'd suggest previous performance would dictate not until our government and those around the world open up international travel but it will take years to pay off the debt and rehire/ remobilise their workforce before you see real stability. I'd be buying as much as you dare at anywhere below 1.25 if you can sit on this for 2-3 years

    • Steven Hartleyi agree this is a bargain price and like you say if you can hold for 2/3 years you will be laughing. I dont think the debt is really too much concern. Every business has a debt and while rolls royce has a pretty big debt its got too many governent secrets to fail. I think with the projects they have in the pipeline this can easily get to £9 a share but not for a few years. Just at the minute flying hours makes a huge part of their revenue. We need long haul to open up for the bigger jump and short haul to open up to get big investors looking seriously at this stock

    • No, i know directly from some of the largest funds in the UK that no one is holding it /wants to touch it and are calling it specultative. I disagree with these funds

    • Will Taylorstrange as you would think given its price it would be sought after atm

    • Kieran Gonzalezexsactly my thoughts. There are a handful of undervalued companies on LSE. The potential for rolls royce is completely out of focus for the big guys, they will wake up once they start seeing some more movement with its decarbonisation ( espescially modifing the majority of the 13,000 engines in service currently) as well as it gains more momentum to commercialise SMRs. Either way great entry and the big boys will have to jump on top if/when they buy. Super long on this.

        • I think with the right amount of pressure from the travel industry for vaccine passports and also with the evidence (which is showing) about the vaccine defence of new strains we are on to a winner. This was always going to be a winning stock it was just a matter of when. Saying that Dont be fooled by just a few pence. We have seen time and time again the yoyo affect with a solid rise comes a solid retrace
          0
      • Although extended lockdown boris is positive about vaccine program stats came out that both jabs were above 90% affective against new delta strain only provides positive boost for vaccine passports etc. Plus giving more attention to booster jabs only gives added strength to the postponing. IMHO good call

        • More pain ahead as third wave is highly possible despite the 4week delay. I think we may one more final lockdown before 2022
          0
          • Alex wanagreed, all the while the vaccine is proving positive effects the governments delay and scare mongering is simply tactics to push the vaccination process as fast as possible. I doubt there will be another lockdown. However there will be travel restrictions and quarintines with variants popping up abroad

          • Ken Laingit is inevitable that vaccine comes with side effects and possibly cause death to certain individuals so i would say they are “unlucky”. Its a balance btw risk and benefit. If something can save a millions or prevent the disease for the majority then a few deaths / harm isnt the valid reason to stop them. They decided to stop because there is alternatives to use which may be safer. Again they only choose to hold it as there appears to be a better option.

          • even if 21st doesnt go ahead. i dont think two more weeks are gonna sting rollsy to much. they have been struggling for a year and a half now so 2 weeks aint gonna hurt it
            0
            • Its more the knee jerk reaction, its inevitable with rolls, any good news takes an age to kick into the stock any bad news and boom sells come in left right and centre

              • Alex wanhi alex, wheb i said this i was taking it from their general consensus, they keep reitterating and saying they cannot see the data that postponing. However i heard last night on LBC they are now looking at postponing for 4 weeks. But who knows. If they do postpone it will be a late call as always

                  • However afternarket value is 107.6 so could land us nicely for tuesday aslong as no scare mongering from the media. We also have rr income report mid week so hopefully it only pushes us long termers into the green further

                    • I am losing hope and patience :(
                      3
                      • How can you with travel reopening? Ive seen on alot of forums the price is more to do with the confidence in management rather than the company. Furthermore with vaccines/boosters etc its only a matter of time now. As soon as mid/long haul flights start opening up we will see the bigger movements. This unfortunatley is not an overnight stock
                        0
                      • This share def need huge patience as its famous evaporating your gains in sec!

                      • Be willing to wait a 6 months to 2 years and you will likely be rewarded for this stock. Just a matter of time with reopening and planes starting to fly again.
