Unfortunately, I'd typed a detailed post, hit the Post button, told to register, registered and thanyou Investing.com - lost that detailed post. Not the best start.I'd purposely arrived here from ADVFN as their RR thread has 619 posts today - all filtered rubbish. Hoping there's a more sensible set of posts here.I bought RR a year or so back specifically for the SMR hope. I see Eliot dd shares my concerns at our government's slow support (if indeed there's any real support). for RR's SMR's.These devices are based upon the tried and tested reactor design currently in our sub fleet. We have numerous contaminated sites where billions will be spent decommissioning old reactors. Wht can't a couple of SMR's be placed in the same sites as these aged beasts, connections to the grid exist, access to construction, expertise in employees. It really is a no-brainer.

RR doubled in price in the last twelve months and if it doubles again in the next twelve months it will be where it was five years ago. Hopefully.
Electric Engine Testing in Europe. Looking up
Bad idea surely imagine flying in a plane with battery powered engines and it has a failure... atleast with combustion it's only going to affect one engine. Thankfully other stuff they are doing is good but I suspect you'll never be flying in an electric powered plane.

Great news for RR:In an announcement on Thursday, the government said it would include nuclear in the UK’s green taxonomy — a system used by investors to determine whether an investment is counted as sustainable or not.The government said it would consult on the green taxonomy in the autumn, proposing that nuclear be included because it is a “key technology within our pathways to reach net zero”.
There's 750 years worth of shale gas under the UK according to the BGS. I thick that's sustainable too.
