PFC Price Commentary

More contracts coming hopefully, countries spending billions on infrastructure rightly so... not hundreds of millions!
Another 1B contract!
Shorters need to be reported to FCA and locked for a long time!
We must be near the bottom. I know there was a big gap to fill between 68 - 69.5 but I didn't think we'd go this low.
Nice
wish it was till Oct 2025- wonder why till 2024
Extension of banking facilities announced today. That takes all uncertainty off the table. Shorts are scared and there is no stopping this till £1 now.
Market rumours of big new contract in Saudi-Arabia hmmm
And India
petrofac lands a huge 13B framework and SHORTS ARE SCARED HAHA
Petrofac lands a huge 13B framework and shorts are scared.
Old news
you are pathetic
Today's RNS simply reiterated the trading update from Dec-22. The news is known and now clears the deck for the path forward. Once Bank signs loan arrangement and we get back to business. 1st contract payment (circa $100m) gets paid as part of the Framework Agreement with Hitachi (Tennet). Looks like the perfect opportunity for shorts to close and the buys this morning suggests this. GLALTH.
I used to work for a consulting firm that was purchased by Petrofac about 10 years ago. After the acquisition, Petrofac did nothing to improve the business for 3 years. Eventually, senior management bought out the business when Petrofac needed to raise cash to cover their litigation costs during Ayman's tenure as CEO. Petrofac had little knowledge of our business, and we were baffled as to why they had acquired us in the first place.
false
I am head of LSE
Lol
Target £5, just give it 3-4 years
Re-entry into FTSE250 will give the SP upwards of £2 in a heart beat.
This new energy project is the biggest in a century says Tennet. Sonner or later that fact will be valued and along with it PFC will return to a real uptrend of the share price which may last a decade
MMs keeping SP down to enable to Shorts to get out without incurring too much damage?
A blue day. What's going on here?
YesJan, just seen an announcement that petrofac has signed a $14 billion dollar deal with Hitachi and i just sold my lots for some good profit
13Bn euros. Super news.
this an absolute bargain, way oversold
Indeed. Dragged down by shorts. It's in the closed period and they know that they can cause fear amongst PIs by manipulating the SP downwards.
Going in tot he 40's and nothing from the BoD. Investor relations is appalling.
Agree, very glad I cancelled my order at 60
 whoops :)
Waiting for 60 patiently
Takeover territory
I doubt anyone will buy this. Its just a short term trading stock
difficult to day-trade anything on a constant decline unless you are short.
Now in the 60's. No sign of any new contracts / preferred bidder so the slide will continue up to the year end results. If the results are not factored in to the current SP then I see 50's coming rapidly after.
Going back to the 70's with no news on contract awards.
Out at 87, waiting for 65 to get back
I think you'll have a long wait. 75p perhaps.
not that long I guess lol
88p today
Year long pay dispute with Unite now settled on Friday 13 Jan. Petrofac workers to receive £18,000 pay rise. From Aberdeenlive.news
Shorts are burning. Burn baby burn.
Breaking out. Expect 82.65 by close of play this week.
Not looking good
The trading update is out. No skeletons. A solid business going through tough times in a market that has been under severe pressure due to Covid and SFO. Only way is up once the shorts sell out.
Gents, please advice on the best app that can be used for trading, specifically dealing with PFC. thank you
