NGK Spark Plug Co Ltd is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of automobile-related products, ceramic-related products, medical-related products, and new business-related products. The Company has four business segments. The Automobile-related segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of automobile parts such as spark plugs, glow plugs and sensors in Japan and overseas. The Ceramic-related segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of cutting tools for machine tools, industrial ceramic products, products for semiconductor manufacturing equipment in Japan and overseas. The Medical-related segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of medical oxygen concentrators in Japan and overseas. The New Business-related segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs), semiconductor parts such as integrated circuit (IC) packages in Japan, and the sale of finished semiconductor parts overseas. It also provides welfare service.
