NexGen Energy Ltd. is a Canada-based exploration and development stage company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and evaluation and development of uranium properties in Canada. It owns a portfolio of prospective uranium exploration assets in the Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan, Canada. The Company's project Rook I is development-stage uranium project in Canada, it is located in the uranium rich district of the southwestern area of the Athabasca Basin, located in the premier mining jurisdiction of Saskatchewan. The Rook I property hosts Arrow Deposit as well as the South Arrow discovery, the Harpoon discovery, the Bow discovery and the Cannon discovery. The Company, through its subsidiary, IsoEnergy Ltd. holds approximately 24 located and prospective assets covering 248,000 hectares in the eastern Athabasca Basin region with Larocque East, Geiger, Thorburn Lake and Radio properties.
