European Opportunities Trust PLC is a United Kingdom-based investment trust. The objective of the Company is to invest in securities of European companies and in sectors or geographical areas, which offer prospects for capital growth. The Company’s investment restrictions include such as will not invest in unlisted securities; not invest in derivative instruments; not invest in other listed closed-ended investment funds, and not more than 50% of the Company’s investments may be in securities which are not qualifying securities or government securities. The Company's portfolio spans across a range of locations, including Denmark, France, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom and others. The Company invests in various sectors, including financials, materials, consumer staples, consumer discretionary, healthcare, communication services, energy and information technology. The Company's fund manager is Devon Equity Management Limited.
