FCMB Group Plc, through its subsidiaries, provides various banking and financial services to the wholesale and retail customers in Nigeria and Europe. The company’s Investment Banking segment offers banking services to structured large corporate organizations. This segment is also involved in capital raising activities for organizations in money and capital markets; and the provision of financial advisory services to organizations in raising funds. Its Asset Management segment administers and manages the pension fund assets and other investment portfolios for structured retiree savings account holders and other equity fund account holders. The company’s SME Banking segment provides banking services to small and medium enterprises (SME) and commercial registered businesses. Its Commercial Banking segment offers banking services to SME and commercial registered businesses. The company’s Corporate Banking segment provides direct debit facilities, current accounts, deposits, overdrafts, loan and other credit facilities, foreign currency, and derivative products for companies and financial institutions. Its Personal Banking segment offers private banking services and private customer current accounts; savings, deposits, and investment savings products; and custody services, credit and debit cards, consumer loans, and mortgages to individuals. The company’s Institutional Banking segment provides government financing, as well as services to financial institutions and multilateral agencies. Its Treasury and Financial Markets segment offers funding support to various business segments. This segment is also involved in currency trading, including financial instruments trading and structured financing. The company also provides stockbroking, trusteeship, micro-lending, and cash management, as well as trade and liquidity management services. It has branches, cash centers, and ATM POS terminals. The company was founded in 1977 and is headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria.
