CINE Price Commentary

thinking of buying more🤔
Don't
cineworld is done. lost all of my investment 😪
not done yet 😁
I have not seen any news about earnings? when earnings report coming out or is already out?
Vue International to merge with Cineworld, its stricken London-listed rival, has stalled.
The founder of Picturehouse, the boutique cinema chain, is hatching a plan to buy it back as part of a potential break-up of Cineworld, the stricken London-listed group.
Do you guys understand the meaning of debt restructuring?
not really can uou explain 🤔
If an actual debt restructuring is in place shareholders are the last to be receiving anything ao that would clearly wipe out investments. If vue or others end up purchasing and taking over uk operations which i consider a high chance its possible the uk shareholders will be fine and they would separate and go through bankrupcy with regal and the us. If this would happen our shares will fly as the business is profitable again only need debt reduction… anything can still happen
Sell now and treat yourself to one last movie.
I don't even go to the movies anymore. Wait. Could this be one of the reasons for its downfall?
it could be. during lockdown amazon stocks trippled because everyone was buying stuff off amazon
what can we expect on 11th of Apr?
Hmmm 🤔
Down 93% in a year doesn't make it cheap. You can still lose 100%
If you sell now, at least you can pass a bit of your misery to someone else
I'm sorry guys.
https://www.cnn.com/2023/02/24/media/cineworld-regal-bankruptcy-shareholders/index.html
Yes but ive seen that brfore then it teipples on somwthing lets see long till till wnd of april doesnt look good byt not over yet
Look at Hibu/Yell, Debenhams and many others before who had similar situation to Cineworld. There will be debt restructuring and all shareholders will be wipe out. The price is spiking occasionally due to short covering. This stock is only for traders going in and out to make quick bucks. Don't be a bag holder
Waste of time. Get into Amzn ffs
Im personally invested and knew the risks but believed in a turnaround, failure to settle the cineplex issue has really damaged cineworld in my view.
I still recall you made fun a certain mystic meg
Not fun, i just believe when its our own money and were willing to take the risk its no one else’s business to tell us why we should invest or not, the decision is our own and once things dont go to plan no need to remind us , were hurting any way, never met anyone who likes to loose money.
No recovery for this just a matter of time before c11 exit with losses fir shareholders. Shame as cinema business footfall was on the up. Win some loose some way it goes.
any one got knowledge after chapter 11 bankruptcy what will be the position for existing shareholders .pls let me know thanks
The shares will be suspended and not tradeable. Unless someone buys the whole business debt included.
when is the date before they go off the market? today? Or next week?
Could be any day. Next week or 6 months time.
it is not expected that any sale transaction will provide any recovery for the holders of the Company's equity interests
If the deal goes ahead do our shares get bought off us or do we keep them? how does this work etc?
There is no deal for shareholders
If the deal get sorted, it can be x 2to3 short term with x10 long term
If.
I guess miracles can happen 😜
Long way to go but some positive’s
4.35p thinking of getting back in sub 2p
ain't happening m8 trend changed now
Don't worry about the rats
at 0.90 seems I was right... not bought back in... previously had them at over 100p that's a pound a share...thank god they are gone
tmrw could be volatile, before the business plan on Monday.
You sure the business plan due Monday?
Is there a chance of a buyer that miraculously turn up and take over all its debt? Sure. But is it probable? Not really. Think companies like Debenham. Even its billionaire share holder (founder of sports direct) who is supposed to be smart money lost 180m after the chain went bankrupt. I am not here to rub salt on people's wound don't get me wrong. If you have already invested, just ride it out and hope for the best as you are probably already over 80% down. The worst thing one can do in this situation is to 'average down' and throwing good money after bad
Will be very interesting if a potential buyer emerges, problem with the company has been the way its been badly debt burdened, if it had minmal or no debt , it would be quite appealing especially with the turnover it is capable of generating with a full movie slate. Covid was just extremely bad timing and occurred after the company was already highly debt ridden. Here’s hoping for some good fortune on this share, lets face it most of us who have the shares feel the pain everyday, doesn’t really help anyone when mystic meg keeps informing us he told us so.
Why anyone would still buy stocks of a company that filed for bankruptcy protection is beyond me. The value of your stock is very likely to go to zero.

What did I say?
It will drop below 3 dollar again. Just wait
The bounce today was just due to short closing. Once the SP is high enough again shorters will be back shorting. This is not a school. No one is here to teach you how to make money
Every rally is a sucker rally. You have seen this since August 2022.
Said it before and I will say it again. Sucker stock
Cineworld Group said on Monday its chief executive officer had been handed a six month suspended prison sentence by an Israeli court, after the cinema operator’s distribution unit agreed it was in breach of a merger agreement from 2010.
