Canadian Overseas Petroleum Limited is a Canada-based company, which is involved in the identification, acquisition, exploration, development and production of oil and natural gas reserves. The Company also holds interests in petroleum assets focused on the United States of America and sub-Saharan Africa. The Company has acquired its subsidiaries, Atomic Oil and Gas (LLC), Pipeco LLC and Southwestern Production Corp. (SWP), collectively the Atomic Group. The Atomic Group's assets are located in the Powder River Basin, Wyoming, United States, which includes two oil production units within its land position: the Barron Flats Shannon Miscible Flood Unit (BFU) and the Cole Creek Unit ((CCU), as well as one unitized exploration area, the Barron Flats Deep Federal Unit (BFDU). Pipeco LLC holds a 100% interest in a gas pipeline and infrastructure, which services the Barron Flats area. The Atomic Group is the operator of these oil and gas assets.

Market not happy with the latest results, currenlty down 5.37% off the back of their release today. With oil and gas prices so high it is a worry that a share in that sector continues to fall.
