AZN Price Commentary

If i purchase the stock today, will i get the dividend?
yes it goes ex div today 25th
if u bought on 24th feb, u would have made a loss, the yield wouldn't cover the capital loss. Looks bearish until next support.
The 2 charges they currently have will seriously affect the share price, l would consider buying back in if its around 6200
What changes?
AstraZeneca to sell its holding in Viela Bio
How would that effect share holders
At least. COVAX to send AstraZeneca shot to Latin America. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-vaccines-latam-idUSKBN2A11UD
Despite the high demand why its going down
Its overpriced at the moment
Going back to 7200, possibily 7000
https://www.cnbc.com/2021/01/21/bofa-picks-astrazeneca-azn-and-other-european-stocks-for-the-decade-.html
Analysts from Bank of America have listed their top European stocks for the next 10 years. AZN is their top pick
It is definitely buy, wants a one push to get momentum, I think today's push a step forward in that direction. Demand will improve & we may see a great earning in Q4 quarter
This looks weak, time to short it
Try it
How come this stock rose on LSE while it fell on TradeGate (both today)?
India approves AZN after UK and Brazil, rest of the world just sitting on the fence and would approve soon. UK has reaffirmed its global leadership on pharmaceuticals, AZN leading the way
Why GSK performing better than AZN suddenly??
Sold out today. If good news like that cant lift the share price then I dont know what will. May buy back in below 7000, which I believe its heading there
A bit premature to exit, i would have waited for Q1 results
covid vaccination is a zero profit for az. so no uplift to eps from that. proposed acquisition is dilutive so sp will remain under pressure in 2021
Underwhelming performance even after brexit deal and vax approval. Sight bump after brexit deal but nothing significant after over 10% decline
Im not sure what everyone wad expecting? Its all been priced in long ago.
an underperformer vis a vis rest of the market on brexit deal and vax. post acquisition announcement, the wind has gone out of azn
8500 in a weeks time
nonsense
Great news, AstraZeneca now been approved in UKI think India will approve this week to start the vaccination programme by New Year
7525p
Dont understand why stocks dipping. The got so mich going for them
I think the vaccine is nothing next to the antibody coctail, known as AZD7442 that Astra is working on at the moment https://www.reuters.com/article/health-coronavirus-astrazeneca-antibody-idUSKBN28100E
final data on vaccine submitted but shares getting pushed down significantly. maybe gbp strength. but still surprising that no uplift post news of full data submission on vaccine today
they've promised not to make a profit out of pandemic and they've bid $39Bn for Alexion. could have further to fall.
I think its a last chance to buy by tomorrow before it gets an approval post ChristmasExpecting a good jump on approval
what if it is not approved?
its going to the dominant vaccine against covid 19 from 4th Jan.Expect others countries to follow soon. Its share price is going to zoom
Im really practicing pations with AZN! :D I like the company, but lately all Pharma's are down trending... anything under 72£ is a buy for me, under 68£ strong buy! Hope i dont miss out waiting 5-6% more...
Me too. I would buy at £72..10.
I think has overcorrected quite significantly, is it time for a surprise rebound ?? The vaccine approval is expected on 28th/29th
PE ratio is still above 50. I'm starting to wonder if this needs to be on my sell list.
is there a profit to be had on their covid vaccine?
Just bought in at 7545. It should be back to £90 in less than a year
Very timely as vaccine approval expected before new year. i have some and i think its time to load up before they become pricy again
So on vaccine is there a profit for AZN in this at £3 a jab if that's what it is? or that just a UK price and it'll be $70 elsewhere?
at cost to poorer countries and during the pandemic. After this it can sell at a profit
now is the time to buy
