mining takes time. this stock is not a short term hold. they have been building their portfolio, doing the preliminary research required to know what's in the ground, value it and get the permission and infrastructure in place to extract it. you'll kick yourself when they pull that first bit of iron ore out of the ground, or re-enter the Elizabeth hill mines, and you sold everything at 0.75p.

Alex i havent sold yet as im at a loss. I have been a LTH. I never sold when i made a profit i held but now im tired of this going like a yoyo. There are better stocks i can put my money in.

sounds like a sensible idea if the volatility or tike.horizona aren't for you. I'm at a loss too right now, but mining stocks are known to be especially volatile and fickle to news flow - they'll always yo-yo, especially smaller cap and always the speculative/exploration stage stocks like UFO is. this kind of stock has got to be a long term hold imho - one that you buy on the likelihood of treasure and sell on physical metal out of the ground. I like UFO because they actually have an abundance of evidence that there's high grade metal in the ground on several bits of land they own, or have majority interest, which is much better than a lot of smaller cap mining stocks can boast. I'm finding it hard not to sell on small profits too, but I'm holding out for the long term and selling on something truly tangible, such as metal out if the ground at a minimum - at that stage I suspect this'll be into the pounds, not pennies. but UFO could also flop tomorrow! c'est la vie
