Following BHP opening proposal to acquire Anglo American the share price has jumped above the offer price. Looks like the market is hedging for an increased offer from BHP or possibly an aternate suitor. Unsurprising given how attractivly priced UK mining stocks like AAL, RIO are. Some of the mid tier producers also look vulnerable to a hostile approach like CAML, TKO, PAF and ADT to name a few

Could China be on the cusp of adding major stimulus. Xo missed his speach in South Africa yesterday. 1 in 4 youngsters are unemployed. The housing market is about to tank so doing nothing is dedinitely not an option. Ita not if bit when the stimulus package comes.
